In the early evening of Tuesday (14), an accident involving a motorcycle occurred in the city of Itabirito. The two-wheeled vehicle ended up partially under a Santafé bus, at the Santa Efigênia neighborhood junction, which also gives access to the São José neighborhood. The driver of the motorcycle has a license. The information is from the Radar Geral website.
The collision occurred on the side of the bus, resulting in damage to the motorcycle. Despite the impact, the driver apparently only suffered bruises to her body. The Itabirito Municipal Brigade team was quick to respond, taking the victim to the Celso Matos da Silva Emergency Care Unit (UPA).
Sergeant Dos Anjos, responsible for operations, shared with the website Radar Geral that “the victim collided with the side of the bus (…)”, adding that he was taken to the UPA for medical evaluation.
The situation resulted in the temporary interruption of traffic in the area, also mobilizing the Municipal Civil Guard. Commander Samir informed the website Radar Geral that, during the garrison’s movement to the service, passers-by helped to remove the motorcycle that was under the bus.
The bus driver went to the UPA to accompany the motorcycle driver, while another driver, according to popular reports, took the bus. When security teams arrived at the scene, as reported by the Radar Geral website, traffic was already open and resuming its normal flow.
