At around 6:30 am this Thursday, November 15th, a collision between two motorcycles took the life of one of the motorcyclists, on Rua do Cedro, in the Dom Joaquim neighborhood. The collision involved a Honda Biz scooter and a Honda CG Fan, both red and with Mercosul Brasil plates.
Biz was driven by a 67-year-old woman, who was found by rescuers with severe trauma and no signs of vital signs. The victim was identified as Maria Vanelli. The second was a motorcycle driven by a man, who was treated and taken by the advanced health unit to the hospital. The accident site was isolated by the Fire Department truck team.
The Military, Civil and Scientific police were also at the scene of the accident. The scene was examined by forensic professionals.
Farewell
Maria Vanelli lived in Jardim Maluche, according to the funeral service. The wake will take place in the Parque da Saudade Mortuary Chapel, and the burial will be at 2pm on Thursday (16), in the Parque da Saudade municipal cemetery. Maria leaves behind three children, three granddaughters and other bereaved family and friends.
