Thiago Flores calls Dnit to place urgent signs on a section with a high rate of accidents on BR-364 | Policy

Federal deputy Thiago Flores (MDB) filed with DNIT a request for urgent signage for Km 563 of BR-364/RO, in front of the A Fazendinha snack bar, which has been witnessing a significant number of recurring accidents for some time. The population of Rondônia knows that this location in question is characterized by an intense flow of vehicles and the incidents have generated concern and serious impacts on road safety in the region. Concerned about the situation, federal deputy Thiago Flores filed a letter with the director of DNIT, on the afternoon of this Monday (13), explaining the need for special attention and signage in this area and also requesting a hearing to discuss the matter.

“We need to change this reality and I believe that adequate installation of road signs can play a crucial role in improving safety and preventing incidents on the highway. BR-364 is already known as the highway of death, this week I witnessed a brutal accident and I couldn’t help but speak out demanding these improvements from DNIT”, reported Thiago Flores.

On the afternoon of this Tuesday (14), the parliamentarian also participated in a virtual meeting with the Minister of Transport and other guests to discuss the works on the bridge that will connect Brazil to Bolivia through the municipalities of Guajará-Mirim and Guayaramerin. Thiago reinforced that, as a parliamentarian, he will always be attentive to the needs that the population is facing and will take these flags for discussion at a national level until the problems can be resolved.
