Event director Judcleison Pereira da Luz, 26, is described by friends as a generous and spiritual person. He died this Tuesday (14) after losing control of his motorcycle and hitting a pole on Via Lago, in Araguaína. The suspicion of friends and relatives is that he suffered a sudden illness.
“An eyewitness, who is his friend and my friend too, told me that he was alone on the avenue. There was a motorcycle in front of him, but he passed about three or four meters from the motorcycle and there was no closure. What does it look like? is that he dozed off on the motorbike. It’s exactly at that moment that we suspect the sudden illness occurred”, said the friend who asked not to be identified in the report.
The report on the causes of death must still be issued by the Legal Medical Institute (IML) of Araguaína.
Jud, as he was known, was the oldest of three brothers and a founding member of a motorcycle club called Raposa do Norte.
“He was a very spiritual guy. He talked a lot about issues of life and death and I believe he was prepared. He was a calm, extroverted, happy and empathetic guy. He always said that life was a cycle, that we have a mission to fulfill and when the mission was accomplished we would be called”, said the friend, who is also a member of the group.
The accident that killed Jud happened in the early afternoon of this Tuesday (14), in Araguaína, on Avenida Via Lago. He had just left the place where he was preparing the city’s birthday party, after helping the TV Anhanguera team with live interviews.

Araguaína City Hall lamented the death and reported that it had considered canceling the event, but decided to continue with the show “out of respect for Jud’s work, who never left anything unfinished”.
The young man’s wake is being held in a space in the Araguaína Sul sector, on Avenida São Francisco. The body must be taken to the cemetery from 3pm and the burial is scheduled for 4pm, in the Jardim das Paineiras cemetery.
