Accident kills young driver and destroys cars on highway in Alto Vale

An accident on the SC-350, in Ituporanga, in Alto Vale, killed a 28-year-old driver this Wednesday morning (15). As a result of the impact, both cars involved were destroyed. The other driver was taken to hospital injured.

The collision on a section of the state highway in the Cerro Negro neighborhood happened around 6 am. A Polo and a Gol went head to head. To be able to remove the 28-year-old man from the wreckage, military firefighters had to break Gol in half. He was already dead when rescuers arrived.

The driver of the other car was treated by Samu and taken to hospital. The Military Highway Police were still at the scene at the time of publishing this text, but there was no information about a roadblock after the body was removed. The victim’s name was not revealed.
