The pilot whosuffered a serious accident during the motocross race at the Domingos Pellizzaro Exhibition Parklast Saturday the 11th, in Capinzal, in the Midwest, remains hospitalized at the University Hospital (HUST) Santa Terezinha de Joaçaba.

The latest medical report, passed on to family members, indicates that the pilot is still recovering. This Tuesday, the 14th, new tests were carried out, including magnetic resonance imaging and tomography.

According to the bulletin, the situation is favorable for recovery. He remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and intubated. He remains sedated and remains stable, which for doctors is good news.

According to family members, there are no fractures and the pressure remains within normal limits. The accident occurred during the last race of the afternoon in the Free Force category of the Santa Catarina Motocross Championship.

The first assistance was provided by the race’s rescue team and the Firefighters provided support to the incident. Given the seriousness of the situation, a Military Police helicopter was mobilized to urgently transport the victim, who had TBI – Cranioencephalic Injury, to HUST.

During the treatment, the pilot suffered three cardiorespiratory arrests that were reversed by the rescue team, and after being stabilized, he was taken by Águia 4 to the Hospital Universitário Santa Terezinha, being accompanied throughout the flight by the medical team and the crew, who placed the all possible resources at your disposal.
