A 28-year-old motorcyclist died in a serious accident involving a truck. The collision happened on Tuesday night (14), on Rodovia das Paneleiras, in Vitória.

Still shaken, the truck driver said he was in the middle lane, with the truck stopped due to heavy traffic, when he suddenly felt a blow to the rear of the vehicle. The man called EMS, but the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. The victim has not yet been identified.
To the police, witnesses said that the motorcyclist was traveling in the right lane and, when crossing to access the middle lane, he did not realize that the truck was stopped and ended up colliding.

The impact of the accident left the motorcycle completely destroyed. The victim’s personal belongings were scattered across the road.
The truck driver had just unloaded the vehicle and was returning to the company’s base when the accident occurred. He took a breathalyzer test, which came back negative. The victim’s body was taken to the Legal Medical Department in Vitória.
