On the afternoon of this Tuesday (14), around 3pm, at BR-376km 499, towards Curitiba, perimeter of Avenida Presidente Kennedy, there was a side collision type accident, with one victim in serious condition.
According to initial surveys, the driver of the Fiat Strada Adv., with Ponta Grossa license plates, was heading towards Ponta Grossa, and lost control of the vehicle, crossing the median, at which point he was hit by the other Fiat Strada Freedom truck, which was following towards Curitiba.
The accident resulted in serious injuries to the driver of the Fiat Strada Adv., who was rescued by a team from Fire Department and was taken to Unimed General Hospital.
Both drivers underwent a breathalyzer test, with negative results for alcohol ingestion. Check out the broadcast made by aRede Portal in the video below:
