Sabino Ramon Vargas Armoa, 40, was wanted for involvement in the death of the drug trafficker
Sabino Ramon Vargas Armoa, 40 years old, was killed by two gunmen at his mother’s residence located in Colônia Aguará, 70 kilometers from the urban perimeter of Capitán Bado, on Tuesday night (14).
According to information obtained by the Última Hora portal, Sabino was surprised by the individuals, who have not yet been identified, at the gate of his house. There was an exchange of words before the shots were fired.
Due to bad weather in the border region, the National Police prosecutor, Hernán Mendoza, ordered the body to be transferred to the local health center for the corresponding forensic procedures.
Known as “Guaravirú”, Sabino is the brother-in-law and one of the suspects in the death of Marcio Ariel “Aguacate” Sánchez Giménez, 35 years old. As reported, he and Fabio Ramón Benítez Gauto, 37, the “Master”, were arrested by the Fiscalía for their involvement in the crime.
Aguacate (avocado, in Spanish) was kidnapped and killed on the night of June 15, exactly seven years after the execution of his boss, drug trafficker Jorge Rafaat Toumani. His body was dumped in the central area of Pedro Juan Caballero, less than 200 meters from the Palace of Justice of Paraguay. In the opinion of border police officers, the “dumping” location was a message from the mafia.
