A serious accident killed a 28-year-old woman on MG-010, in the Vista Alegre neighborhood, in Vespasiano, in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte, this Thursday (November 14). The victim was in a taxi that was hit by a truck. Another three people were injured.
According to the Fire Department, the accident occurred around 6:30 pm, near the entrance to Lagoa Santa, towards Belo Horizonte. The truck driver lost control of the vehicle, went the wrong way, hit the taxi and only stopped after hitting a wall.
In addition to the dead passenger, the 40-year-old driver and a second woman were in the car. The man suffered bruises and was taken to Risoleta Neves Hospital, in Belo Horizonte. The woman had injuries to one of her legs and her face and was taken to the Lagoa Santa hospital.
