The police are certain of one thing: the body found tied up, floating in an arm of a stream that flows into the Maguari River in Ananindeua, was not due to drowning but rather a type of violent crime.

It was around 3pm when the Integrated Operations Center was called by a resident of the Curuçambá neighborhood in Ananindeua reporting that a body was adrift in an arm of a stream at the end of Travessa Apoema between Avenida Beira Mar and Travessa Itaubi, in Curuçambá neighborhood.

Ciop moved vehicle 2906 from the 29th Battalion to the location under the command of Sergeant Frazão, who confirmed the information and subsequently called a team from the Pará Military Fire Department to remove the body from the stream to an area of dry land. in Apoema lane.

According to information from police officers who had access to the body of the unknown man, he himself had injuries to his body resulting from alleged torture and his hands were tied.

Another detail that draws attention were two gunshot wounds to the head, which characterizes an execution, and the infamous “crime court” cannot be ruled out.

Judging by the situation, the police believe that the man may have been thrown elsewhere on the Maguari River and ended up ending up with the advance of the tide in this stream, which is a tributary of the river that passes through a large part of the Curuçambá neighborhood.

A team from the Scientific Police of Pará was called and until removal the body remained unidentified. A Civil Police team monitored the forensic work and removal of the body to the Renato Chaves Legal Medical Institute.
