Realme is close to renewing its line of premium devices, with the arrival of the Realme GT5 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the coming weeks. However, the brand is also preparing another model, the GT Neo 6, which should use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and have an aggressive price, according to rumors.
According to information published on the Chinese social network Weibo, the Realme GT Neo 6 is supposedly in development to be announced as a high-performance option with a focus on cost-benefit, rivaling the Galaxy S23 FE.
One of the highlights would be the presence of the main high-end smartphone processor of the year, present in models such as the OnePlus 11 and Nubia Red Magic 8S Pro — which recently arrived in Brazil —, presenting a good upgrade compared to the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 of the Realme GT Neo 5.
The device must still have an all-aluminum construction and aim to deliver a competitive price, which should be below 2,000 yuan (approximately R$1,350 in direct conversion). Just for comparison, the OnePlus 11 was announced in China at the beginning of the year with a price of 3,999 yuan.
Successor to the Realme GT Neo 5, the model should have a design similar to what is already seen today in the Realme GT 5 — which also uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 — as recent renderings and even certifications have already anticipated.
Considering that the Realme GT Neo 3 was announced in March last year and the GT Neo 5 arrived in February this year, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Realme GT Neo 6 was announced sometime in the first quarter of next year.
