One person was seriously injured in an accident involving three trailers and a truck, on Thursday afternoon (9), on Rodovia Brigadeiro Eduardo Gomes (SP-457), in Rancharia (SP).
The vehicles were traveling on the road when, at km 59.500, near Rancho Quarto de Milha, there was a collision followed by a side collision and the overturning of one of the trucks, according to the Military Highway Police.
At the time, two people also suffered minor injuries. All victims were rescued by the Fire Department and taken to the local emergency room to receive medical care.
Due to the collapse, the lane heading from Bastos (SP) to Iepê (SP) had to be closed to traffic. Local traffic flows in the Stop and Follow system, through the north lane and shoulder.
Teams from the Highway Police, the Department of Highways (DER) and the concessionaire Eixo-SP, which manages the stretch, are helping with signage.
The Scientific Police were called to investigate the causes and circumstances of the accident.
