Investing.com – The Tesla (NASDAQ:) subsidiary in China announced this Thursday, 9th, a slight price adjustment for the long-range versions of the Model 3 and Model Y.
The Model 3 Long Range had a price increase of RMB 1,500 (US$206), starting at RMB 297,400 (US$40,819), while the Model Y Long Range had a price increase of RMB 2,500 (US$ 343), starting at RMB 302,400 (US$41,507) without options.
Previously, the same version of the Model 3 started at RMB 295,900 (US$40,615), while the Model Y started at RMB 299,900 (US$41,164) without options.
The new prices for the Model 3 and Model Y were published on the official order pages for both vehicles on Thursday, confirming earlier news about the price adjustment scheduled for November 9th.
Notably, Tesla China has, for now, only raised the prices of these two versions. The rear-wheel drive Model 3 and Y and the Model Y Performance have not seen price increases.
Rumors are circulating that the Model 3 RWD and Model Y RWD may also undergo price adjustments in the near future.
In the early afternoon of this Thursday in New York, Tesla shares registered a drop of 3.73%, to US$ 213.83.
