STJ approves new summary on pension for death of federal public servant

The First Section of the Superior Court of Justice (STJ), specialized in public law, approved a new summary statement in the session on 11/08.

The summaries are the summary of understandings consolidated in the judgments and serve to guide the legal community regarding the court’s jurisprudence. The statements will be published in the Electronic Justice Gazette, three times, on upcoming dates, in accordance with article 123 of the STJ’s Internal Regulations.

Check out the new summary:

Precedent 663 – The death pension of a federal public servant may be granted to a disabled child of any age, as long as the disability predates the death.
