A mishap (accident) at km 7 of ERS-122, in Encantado (RS), on Wednesday night (8), involving a VW truck left the truck driver dead, according to the Military Brigade Road Command (CRBM).
Still according to the CRBM, the driver lost control of the truck, model 23.210, and it overturned on the highway, around 10:30 pm. The truck driver was identified as Armando Buchhorn Jocksch48 years old.
According to the CRBM, the vehicle, Registered in Guaíba (RS), it was heading towards Ilópolis-Encantado, in the Serra da Gabiroba region, when it was involved in the accident. Jocksch He was trapped in the wreckage and died at the scene.
The Fire Department and the General Institute of Expertise also responded to the incident. After being removed, the body was sent for autopsy at the Legal Medical Department (DML) of Lajeado (RS). The Civil Police will investigate the causes of the accident.
