One industrial robot crushed an employee at an agricultural products distribution center in South Gyeongsang province, South Korea. According to the local news agency Yonhap, apparently the robot was unable to differentiate the man from the boxes of products he was stacking.
According to The Guardian, the 40-year-old employee worked inspecting the operations of the robot’s sensor, whose function is to lift boxes full of vegetables and place them on a pallet. However, due to some equipment failure, the robot was unable to identify the man.
