– I won’t forget you even from a distance – Reyes wrote to Noelia.
– I just received a request from Ikea (furniture company) that I had made to organize some little things that I still kept in boxes. I found this – wrote Noelia on social media.
Reyes had a career with Sevilla, where he played 242 matches, scored 37 goals and was three-times Europa League champion (2014, 2015 and 2016). He also had spells at Real Madrid, Arsenal, Atlético de Madrid and Benfica. For the Spanish national team, Reyes played 21 games, scoring four goals.
– I feel affection every time I find a sign. Today, some words have more strength. Lately I’ve been feeling so many signs. Someday I will tell them to you – added Noelia.
Reyes died at the age of 35, in a car accident in Utrera, Sevilla. One of his cousins, Jonathan, also died in the accident, while another passenger in the car, Juan Manuel Calderón, suffered burns to more than 60% of his body.
