“Here it just seems like you kicked the bucket and went to paradise, it’s so perfect,” said the Brazilian known as Pati Vlogs about Switzerland. The travel content creator showed, in a video, what it’s like to live in the country and was successful on social media.
In the video, posted on Instagram in collaboration with traveler Pablo Fakir, the young man jokes that even the sewer is made of crystal clear water.
In addition to lakes with transparent waters, the Brazilian says that the mountains look like ‘Windows background’ photographs.
Regarding the cost of living, Pablo points out that Switzerland is a leader in this matter. Meanwhile, the minimum wage is approximately €4,400, or R$23,000.
To exemplify what a dinner outing in the country is like, Pati reported that a sandwich with fries cost 60 Swiss francs, which is equivalent to around R$350.
Furthermore, Switzerland does not offer public healthcare, and citizens are required, by law, to pay for their own healthcare plans, according to the traveler. He explains that, due to the high cost of living, people choose to work in the country and look for other countries for housing.
Thus, the place is a melting pot of nationalities, with four official languages, German, French, Italian and Romansh. English, in turn, is not official, but is spoken by many inhabitants.
Along with the high cost of living, quality also follows. According to Pati, Switzerland is considered one of the safest nations in the world and showed a series of bicycles without locks on the streets.
Thus, the comments section was filled with messages from internet users who would like to visit the place. “I would go immediately,” commented one. “My lifelong dream is to visit this country”, confirmed another.
