Late this Wednesday afternoon (08), the police recounted the body of the main suspect of having committed a triple homicide this morning in the city of Jardim de Angicos. The body of the man, identified as Flávio Ananias Lopes, was located in a forested area in the region of the municipality where he allegedly committed the crime.
According to the police, after more than six hours of investigations in a dense forest area that was difficult to access in the rural area of Jardim de Angicos, the Military Police teams found the accused already dead under a tree at around 3:15 p.m. minutes. It took more than six hours to search, requiring a lot of effort in an area that was difficult to access, full of dense forests, thorns, rocks and some caves. The individual had taken his own life.
Participating in the incident were vehicles from the 14th Battalion, CPR IV (Regional Policing Command), CIOPAR, 10th Military Police Battalion, GTO of Assu, GTO of João Câmara, GTO of Touros and the Helicóptero Potiguar 01, which helped in the search and location of the body.
