São Paulo – Two 18-year-olds were arrested after stealing a gold chain from a woman who was driving a man in a wheelchair along the coast of Santos, on the coast of São Paulo.
The site’s security cameras captured the crime, which occurred last Friday (3/11). The victim was walking with the wheelchair user wearing a swimsuit when a cyclist passed in the opposite direction and ripped the chain, valued at R$2,000, from the woman’s neck.

The agents managed to arrest one of the boys while still on the bike path on the Santos/São Vicente border. The other suspect was detained at the Submarine Emissary.
The two were taken to the 7th Police District of Santos, where the case was registered as theft. They were available to the courts.
The gold chain was returned to the victim.
