The Capivari Center stopped in the early afternoon of this Wednesday, the 8th, for the launch of the “Resgate 153” program, which simulated a serious traffic accident on Rua XV de Novembro. The action was attended by the mayor and intervenor of Santa Casa de Misericórdia, Vitão Riccomini and deputy Bruno Barnabé, as well as the secretaries of Public Security, Mauro Jr., and Health, Vládia Guimarães. Santa Casa’s Financial Director, Ademar Kerches, was also present.
In the simulation, the Capivari Civil Guard represented a collision with two victims in serious condition. One of them had a broken leg and was trapped under the vehicle, while the driver hit his head on the steering wheel and was unconscious.
The chief executive and the Secretary of Security activated “Rasgate 153”, whose call went to the Intelligence Operations Center (COI) and there the attendant called a team that immediately began the action. Two teams arrived at the scene within approximately 3 minutes.
“We have been working on this project since last year because we identified a deficiency in requests for help from Santa Casa. Our idea was to leave everything within the number 153 so that people do not need to identify many numbers and also to speed up service as much as possible, as every second counts in an emergency procedure”, pondered Mauro Jr.
Mayor Vitão stressed, as soon as the simulation ended, that the program is already in operation and that it marks a revolution within health services in Capivari. “It is a 100% program from our municipality, designed and funded to save lives, as we know the importance of efficiency in cases like the one represented here today”, he praised.
From now on,when an emergency occurs in Capivari, the population can make the call for telephone 153 or 3491-1311.
