An accident between two motorcyclists left a man seriously injured. The collision happened on Tuesday morning (07), around 7am, on BR-101, in São Gonçalo, on the road towards Rio.
According to Arteris, the concessionaire responsible for the road, the accident happened between two motorcycles near the Vila Lage neighborhood. One of the victims was rescued and taken in serious condition to the Azevedo Lima State Hospital, in Fonseca, in Niterói.

After the accident, one of the lanes was closed, but was reopened around 8:10 am. However, congestion continues due to the large number of cars in flow.
