A car accident in the early evening of this Saturday (4/11) involving five people caused the death of a 14-year-old teenager and left four other people injured, two of whom were trapped in the wreckage. According to the Fire Department, at the time of the rescue it was not raining, however the track was wet from the recent rain.

The collision occurred around 5pm in DF 001, close to Escola Fazendária, Jardim Botânico. According to information from the CBMDF, when teams arrived at the scene they found that the red VW Voyage collided sideways with the tree. Five people were inside the vehicle. JRL, 14 years old, had traumatic brain injury and cardiorespiratory arrest. The cardiopulmonary resuscitation protocol was performed but she did not survive and died at the scene.

One of the victims, GMPV, 19 years old, driver of the vehicle, had facial injuries, was conscious, oriented, stable and was transported to the Instituto Hospital de Base de Brasília (IHBB). Three other victims were transported by Samu, conscious and oriented. While helping the victims, traffic was completely stopped.
