The court ordered the preventive detention of Gabriel da Silva Valencio and Douglas da Silva Albuquerque Martins, accused of the death of a resident of Anil, in Jacarepaguá, West Zone of Rio, who had disobeyed orders imposed by drug trafficking in the region known as ” Hot hole”. The crime occurred in March this year and the defendants were denounced by the Specialized Action Group for Combating Organized Crime of the Public Ministry of the State of Rio de Janeiro (GAECO/MPRJ).
According to the Public Ministry, known among the members of a criminal faction as Biel and DG, Gabriel and Douglas, are accused of having murdered the victim simply because he did not allow the use of his residence as an escape route for drug trafficking, as well as the installation of a smoke vent on site. During the investigations, it was found that this is the modus operandi of criminals in relation to those who oppose the interests of the criminal faction to which they belong.

- West Zone: Military Police reinforce policing in region where militia member was killed
The complaint describes that the crime was committed for a base reason, with the sole intention of demonstrating the power and territorial dominance of drug trafficking in the region. It also highlights that the criminal action made it impossible to defend the victim, as the defendants fired several shots, which proves the method of execution.
Ryan Soares de Almeida, suspected of having participated in the murder of doctors in a kiosk in Barra da Tijuca, West Zone of the city, last month, was also accused of having participated in the action. But, due to his death, the MPRJ promoted the extinction of his punishment.
In the records, GAECO considers that it is extremely necessary to convert the Biel and DG prison, since the criminal faction to which they belong began a series of homicides in Jacarepaguá, seeking, by force, complete territorial domination, expelling and killing their opponents . The war has already left more than 100 victims, including militiamen and residents who do not agree with the occupation and drug trafficking.
