A 23-year-old woman was shot dead by her boyfriend, in the Guadalupe settlement, in Jataí, city of Goiás, this Saturday (04). The victim of the feminicide recorded the moment she was hit by the gunshot and the video went viral on social media.

According to information from the Goiás Military Police, Ielly Gabriele Alves was taken to the hospital, however, she could not resist her injuries and died.
Metrópoles reported that, at the time of the crime, a witness reported that he was driving a vehicle with his girlfriend as a passenger, when they were approached by a motorcycle occupied by two individuals. At that moment, the passenger on the motorcycle pulled out a firearm and fired, fatally striking the victim.
However, due to contradictions, the witness was taken by the police team to the Civil Police Station to provide clarification. After investigations, the Civil Police discovered a video on the young woman’s cell phone in which the victim herself films her boyfriend with a pistol firing the shot that killed her. Diego Fonseca Borges, 27 years old, was arrested red-handed for qualified homicide. (watch below).
