Celebrities and personalities used social media to mourn the death of Lolita Rodrigues94-year-old actress who passed away this Sunday, 5th, in João Pessoa (PB).

The writer Walcyr Carrasco also used social media to mourn the artist’s death. “Another sad news this week. Rest in peace, my dear and eternal Lolita Rodrigues, one of the great pioneers of Brazilian TV. Art is in mourning! My condolences to family, admirers and friends!”, she published.

The actress and filmmaker Tassia Camargo stated that “a great woman leaves and leaves so many stories”. “It really isn’t possible anymore. A friend told me that my great friend and actress Lolita Rodrigues had left. There are so many losses in my story that, if I go, as long as I’m lucky enough to go without pain, it would be a relief. Death

Lolita was admitted to Hospital Nossa Senhora das Neves after being diagnosed with pneumonia. She did not survive and passed away at 4:30 am, according to the hospital.

The actress’s daughter, Sílvio Rodrigues, confirmed her mother’s death and said that the body will be cremated this Sunday, the 5th. The ceremony will be restricted to family and close friends.
