A security camera recorded the moment a motorcyclist ran over and killed a 7-year-old boy, on Thursday afternoon (2), in Sinop.
The driver, aged 18, was drunk, did not have a driver’s license (National Identification Card) and was involved in a “race” with another motorcycle at the time of the accident.
In the images, it is possible to see the child on the sidewalk, just before running trying to cross to the other side of the street.
At the time of the crash, the motorcyclist apparently had his legs open. Shortly before the collision, he was carrying out dangerous maneuvers on the road, one of them known as “superman”, which is when the motorcyclist lies down on the motorcycle.
Upon impact, the motorcycle skids and hits several signs in front of a commercial establishment.
The motorcyclist, in turn, rolls over several times, then gets up and walks towards the sidewalk, without appearing to have difficulty.
Some members of the public then go towards the motorcyclist and attack him.
The boy’s death was confirmed by the Fire Department. The motorcyclist was arrested after receiving medical attention.
