Driver loses control and crashes into car parked on Avenida Guaicurus – Direto das Ruas

An unidentified driver lost control of the wheel and collided with a parked vehicle on Avenida Guaicurus, towards the center/neighborhood, late this Thursday afternoon (2), in Campo Grande.

In the images recorded by security cameras and sent to the Campo Grande News through the channel Straight from the Streets, it is possible to see the moment the accident happens. The driver of the black Renault Sandero hits a silver Volkswagen Gol, climbs onto the median and hits the black Ford Fiesta parked on the other side of the avenue.

A team from the Military Fire Department was called by witnesses and sent the unconscious driver to medical care at Santa Casa de Campo Grande. At the scene, the PM (Military Police) closed traffic on one of the lanes until the vehicles were removed.

The suspicion is that the driver who caused the accident was drunk, but the police informed that the dynamics of the accident will only be disclosed after the investigations at the scene have been completed. There were no reports of seriously injured people.
