Man shot dead in Juazeiro, young man drowning in Farias Brito and child in Salitre

Three more violent deaths recorded in Cariri on All Souls’ Day. In the first homicide of November in the region, Cícero Daniel Oliveira dos Santos, 26 years old, “Daniel Joker”, was executed with five shots at around 2 pm. The crime took place in front of his house on Rua Dom Bosco near the intersection with José Morocco in the so-called Gaza Strip in the Santa Tereza neighborhood. He even tried to take refuge in the property, but he didn’t have time and ended up killed by two men who fled on a motorcycle.

DROWNING – Earlier, around 10 am this holiday, divers from the Juazeiro Fire Department found the body of Maurício Neto Rodrigues Alves, aged 27, who drowned in the Açude dos Gatos at Sítio Riacho da Roça in Farias Brito. He lived on Rua Francisco Pereira e Silva (Bairro Populares) in that municipality and disappeared on Wednesday afternoon while taking a shower and drinking alcohol with friends. It dived into the reservoir and did not return to the surface.

At around 12:30 pm, the child Davi Alencar de Oliveira, aged 2, drowned in a fish tank at Sítio Cavalcante in the rural area of ​​Salitre. The boy was rushed to the Campos Sales Hospital by SAMU, but he arrived dead. In fact, Salitre City Hall issued a note of condolence due to the death of this child.
