Dionez Coelho, the app driver involved in Kayky Brito being run over, published a series of stories on his social media talking about a conversation he had with Bruno de Lucca over the phone. The presenter kept the actor company at a kiosk on Barra da Tijuca beach, in Rio de Janeiro, moments before Kayky suffered the accident, in early September.
“He looked for me on Instagram asking for my number. And in that call he thanked me a lot for the support I provided to his friend. I was just an instrument and acted like a citizen”, began the driver.
Dionez, in turn, wanted to know how Bruno de Lucca was feeling at that moment. According to him, the presenter responded that “he was afraid to leave”:
“He told me that he was feeling really bad psychologically, afraid of going out, afraid of people, with all the hate distilled on the internet.”
