Drug trafficking manager in the Castelar community was arrested last Tuesday, 31, by the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro

Last Tuesday, the 31st, the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro arrested a man, whose identity was not revealed, who was drug trafficking manager in the Castelar community. The subject is also suspected of the murder of the three boys from Belford Roxo in December 2020.

At the time, the three boys from Baixada Fluminense, who were between 8 and 11 years old, disappeared after leaving home. According to investigations, Folha recalls, the children were tortured and killed. Their bodies were never found.

The police reported that the criminal had been monitored for some time and that he had two outstanding arrest warrants: for murder and drug trafficking. His arrest took place in the Areia Branca neighborhood, in Belford Roxo, as a result of agents from the Narcotics Repression Police Station and the Baixada Fluminense Homicide Police Station.

According to the police investigation, the three boys were dead after stealing two bird cages that belonged to a drug dealer’s uncle. The trio would have been convicted by the ‘crime court’. During the attacks, one of the boys did not resist and ended up dying. The other two would have been killed to “solve the problem”.
