The movie is now available on Netflix 2 hearts. Originally released in 2020, the feature with Jacob Elordi needed just one day to reach the top of the platform’s production ranking, surpassing The mother, Asterix and Obelix – The Middle Kingdom, faithful and many others.
The plot follows two parallel stories, portraying the lives of Jorge Bacardi and Christopher Gregory. Both have chronic problems, with their lives hanging by a thread. Although, 2 hearts it is based on a true case and has a great tragedy in its premise.
2 Hearts: what happened to Jorge Bacardi?

As we see in the film, Chris is a young man with a tragic life. Played by Elordi, the character dies early at age 19, victim of a brain aneurysm, and has his organs donated, as he wished.
The donation benefited seven people in real life, Jorge Bacardi being one of them to receive a lung transplant. The wealthy businessman had been misdiagnosed in the past and discovered he had a rare condition.
The transplant took place when Jorge was 64 and genuinely gave him a second life. The businessman created the Gabriel House of Care, a non-profit organization that offers help to thousands of people who are in the transplant queue.
Jorge assisted in the production of 2 hearts alongside his wife, Leslie, but passed away shortly before the film’s premiere, in September 2020. The businessman was 76 years old.
