The Civil Police arrested another suspect of having participated in the murder of Matheus Kruszynski Gonçalves Rezende Lara, this Friday (23), in Registro, in the interior of São Paulo. The victim was the niece of federal deputy Samuel Moreira (PSDB) and was found dead in June. Three men have already been arrested for the crime and two remain at large.(see video above).
The action was carried out in conjunction with the Military Police (PM). The 31-year-old suspect was captured in the Vila Nova neighborhood, when police officers identified him walking on a public road.
The delegate of the General Investigations Office (DIG) of Registro (SP), Carlos Eduardo Vieira Ceroni, who is in charge of the investigations represented by the arrest of the group. According to him, five men are suspected of the crime.
As reported by g1, one of the suspects was arrested eight days ago. The other had been arrested previously for another homicide, which took place in May this year, also in Registro (SP).

Matheus made the last contact with the family around 2:40 am on June 26. On the 27th, relatives went to the police station to report the disappearance of the young man, who left the house with the car and was never seen again.
Matheus’ body was found on the morning of the 28th, at Estrada do Jurumirim, with marks of violence on his forehead and a depression in his chest two days after he was reported missing.
The car that the victim was using was found in a state of disrepair on July 2, in Vila São Francisco.
