Then, according to the lieutenant colonel, the suspect was disarmed, and the police called for help. “Unfortunately, the death of the criminal was confirmed by the Fire Department”, said the deputy commander.
According to the Civil Police, Oliveira killed Valdece with several blows to the arm and chest. Deputy Mila Villela Junqueira, responsible for the investigation, said that the man’s intention was to steal money from the store’s cashier. He was identified by the security camera footage of the establishment.
“From the pictures, it was really a robbery. She reacted and they got into a fight, culminating in the victim’s death,” said the delegate.
The victim’s family said the woman was not used to being alone in the establishment. Previously, she worked with an employee who left the site two weeks ago. The woman’s relatives still say that she had the desire to close the store and retire, after more than 20 years of dedication to sales.
According to the Civil Police, Oliveira had ten passages by the police for robbery, theft, embezzlement and false imprisonment.
