Check out the main news from Timão this Thursday (22):

Jorge Jesus on the agenda

With a contract until the end of this year, Vítor Pereira has not yet defined whether he will continue at Corinthians for the 2023 season. With that in mind, the Corinthians board is already analyzing new options and has coach Jorge Jesus, ex-Flamengo, as one of the options.

Chosen Attacker

Even without the permanence set for 2023, Corinthians presented two forwards for coach Vítor Pereira, who would have already defined which one he prefers to have in the squad for next season. The information was released by journalist Cosme Rimoli, from R7.

“VP liked Pedro Raul more than Paulinho. But it approves, if the club can, the hiring of the two for 2023”, published Cosme Rimoli.

New shirt?

In honor of the 10th anniversary of winning the 2010 Club World Cup, Corinthians should launch a new shirt. Images of the ‘alleged’ uniform were released on social networks, but Nike and Corinthians do not confirm.

Du Queiroz projects the final of the Copa do Brasil

“I think that with each game that passes, we are more prepared, and this one will be no different. It will be an interesting final, with two great teams. May the best win”, said midfielder Du Queiroz.

Debt to former player

Due to a lawsuit initiated in the Labor Court in 2004, Corinthians will be obliged to pay compensation to former player Jorge Wagner, who defended the club in 2003.
