Samsung devices tend to make the list of the best-selling devices in the world, but they also achieve interesting feats in regional markets. According to a new article, the Galaxy S24 line achieved good results in Japan.
The data reveals that the Galaxy S24 was the third best-selling in the country. Although the line was launched globally in January, Japan only received it on the 11th of last month and a curious fact is that the Galaxy S24 Plus was not launched, only the base model and the Ultra.
Even with a short period of availability, the Galaxy S24 ranked third as the best-selling cell phone in the Japanese market, with the Galaxy S24 Ultra ranked fifth. This shows Samsung’s strength in the country and provides an optimistic forecast for the coming months.
Data revealed by NTT Docomo shows that only two brands won the top five places: Apple and Samsung. In first place is the iPhone 14, followed by the iPhone 15.
The agency believes that Galaxy AI played an important role in boosting sales of the Galaxy S24 line in Japan, taking into account that the Japanese public likes new technology.
Based on the numbers obtained by the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy Ultra in the month of launch, the estimate is that both will occupy the top spots for the best-selling cell phones in Japan in the coming months.
