Aaron Espinoza, senior director of communities at Insomniac Games, reported that some internet users are demanding updates for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Asking for information about future updates is common, but the way they are doing it, using insults and lacking respect, has generated uncomfortable in the studio.

The one who endorsed the chorus in defense of the developer was James Stevenson, director of community and marketing, who often brought news about the web head’s latest game to fans. Posts made on Twitter highlight dissatisfaction with the situation:

Aaron: Sending violent threats to game developers over game development stuff is childish and just plain stupid.

James: Don’t do that. We know you want updates and information. We are working to deliver everything as quickly as possible given the extraordinary circumstances our team has faced.

The “extraordinary circumstances” cited by Stevenson certainly have to do with the recent leak of information suffered by the studio. Apparently, the players who made this type of charge don’t care what happened and are worried about the launch of the New Game+ for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
