Launched this Friday (2), Persona 3 Reload recorded the biggest launch of a game from Atlus’ acclaimed RPG franchise on Steam.
The remake of the PlayStation 2 game reached a peak of more than 42 thousand simultaneous players on Valve’s service, a number higher than the just over 35 thousand of Persona 5 Royal. The numbers are from SteamDB.
Persona 3 Reload has been rebuilt from the ground up for today’s platforms, with a revamped battle system, modern graphics, remastered audio with all-new English voice acting, and quality of life features. Furthermore, it is the first Persona to have official support for subtitles in Brazilian Portuguese.
In celebration of the release of Persona 3 Reload, Webtoon Originals creator Merryweather Media has released a five-part miniseries that introduces readers to the story of Persona 3 Reload. The first two episodes can be watched on Webtoon, while the next ones will be available in the coming weeks.
Persona 3 Reload puts players in the shoes of a transfer student thrown into an unexpected destiny, who has to enter the Dark Hour between one day and the next. In doing so, he awakens incredible power so he can pursue the mysteries of Tartarus, fight for his friends, and leave a mark on their memories forever.
It is possible to play Persona 3 Reload on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play at no additional cost, as the title is available in the service’s library.
