It’s real: Until Dawn will have an updated version for the PlayStation 5. The announcement, confirming rumors from recent weeks, was made at State of Play this Wednesday (31). The game will be released later this year and has been remade, optimized for the new generation and for PCs.

According to Supermassive (via PS Blog), Until Dawn was recreated in Unreal Engine 5. Players can look forward to new and improved animations, as well as improvements to characters, settings and visual effects. There will be a “color palette with broader cinematic tones and new perspectives to make the story more complex and emotional.”
The PS5 port features a new third-person camera, new interactions and more collectibles. Finally, a new soundtrack by composer Mark Koven and new licensed songs are part of the package.
