TCL launches line of smartphones with screen that simulates paper

TCL presented to the Brazilian market two new smartphones that stand out for their unique screen technology in the world.

The cell phones TCL 40 NxtPaper It is TCL 40 NxtPaper 5G feature an exclusive panel that, according to the company, offers a “paper-like” visual experience and is suitable for those who like to take longer readings on a digital display, but doesn’t like the experience offered by traditional screens.

The NxtPaper display simulates a texture with a matte effectlike a real book, while also having an anti-reflective feature and a fingerprint-resistant feature.

He still emits less blue lightwhich is the type considered most harmful to the eyes during long-term contact with screens.

Additionally, NxtPaper’s user interface allows users to choose a reading scheme “between full-color manga or a black and white experience.”

The TCL 40 NxtPaper is the most powerful device of the duo, with a 6.78” FHD+ NxtPaper screendual speakers and 3D boom sound to ensure your immersion when consuming streaming content or mobile games.

The triple rear camera system includes a 50 MP sensor, while the 32 MP front camera is well suited for selfies. With thickness of just 7.89 mm and a 2D back coverthe model also has 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM.

Already the TCL 40 NxtPaper 5G model is slightly more compact and less powerfulwith a 6.6-inch panel and HD+ resolution.

With the same 256 GB of storage as the other device, it has 6 GB of RAM (but can have an additional 6 GB virtual, which are “borrowed” from the internal memory).

This device comes with a rear photography assembly that includes a 50 MP primary camera, one 2MP depth sensor it is a 2 MP macro sensor, with AI capabilities. The front sensor is 8 MP.

Availability

The TCL 40 NxtPaper has a suggested price of R$1,499 for the Brazilian market and will be sold from November 18th both on the manufacturer’s website and at retail partners.

The TCL 40 NxtPaper 5G model will go on sale “soonwith no value yet disclosed.
