PS5 had its worst sales week in Japan

Famitsu revealed the numbers of consoles and physical games sold in Japanese stores between October 30th and November 5th, the week in which Fashion Dreamer was the best debut.

Marvelous’ Fashion Dreamer sold close to 31,000 physical units in its launch week and was the best debut, ahead of the new WarioWare: Move It!, but none of them sold more than Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

The new Super Mario game has sold more than 108 thousand units and is getting closer to the first million. Star Ocean: The Second Story R sold 50,577 and if we combine all the versions, it is the best debut.

In the list of consoles, the Switch leads unopposed, with more than 93 thousand consoles sold, well above the almost 5 thousand units of the Xbox Series. The PS5 sold just over a thousand units.
