Since 2020, PlayStation fans have been enjoying several unique next-generation experiences. Now, the PS5 celebrates its third anniversary in a big way, where chip manufacturing is in full swing and more than 2,500 games have been released.

In a statement, Sony thanked the more than 40 million players who have already joined the current generation of consoles. The manufacturer also listed some of the titles that have been making a mark in the industry since 2020, especially the most recent ones such as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Baldur’s Gate 3 and Final Fantasy XVI.

Furthermore, the second half of 2023 marks the boost in PS5 chip production, the extension of services such as PS Plus — cloud streaming — and the offer of more licensed products. In the coming months, a new model of the video game and accessories such as earbuds and the PlayStation Portal will be launched.
