Focused on console stability, the latest PS5 patch also brought “secret” adjustments to the interface. Starting this week, all players who turn off the video game or put it to sleep will see a new animation.
The new shutdown screen was not even mentioned in the update notes, as Sony only confirmed improvements in “system performance”. However, the animation is already integrated into the system and includes a slight reference to the new console model.
YouTube user The Dance Bunny captured the details of the new PS5 interface on video and showed how the shutdown works. Now the console covers and lighting simulate the real white color process and apply to the most compact version of the Slim model.
