Sport signed a professional contract with two more silver from the house this week: midfielder Adriel and midfielder Jefinho. Both signed a bond until 2025, with the documentation formalized in the CBF IDB. They were champions of Pernambucano by the Under-15 last year and are currently in the Under-17 of the club.
In addition to the duo, Rubro-Negro is also negotiating the professional bond of defender Samuel – which should be signed throughout this week. It is a move by the board to try to preserve the club’s jewels and prevent the recurrence of cases like that of midfielder Lukinhas.

At 15 years of age, the athlete still cannot sign a professional bond – according to the rules of the Pelé Law. And Sport does not have a Training Club Certificate to guarantee rights in cases where there is only the “training contract”.
Criticized for the midfielder’s departure, Rubro-negro still says he managed to keep 50% of Lukinhas’ economic rights and prefixed, from this percentage, 20% for R$ 500 thousand.

Before this case, the club went through a similar scenario with goalkeeper Aranha and defender Isac – but who had a professional contract in Ilha do Retiro. Thus, the first left on loan to Palmeiras and the second permanently to Bragantino. Both had signed with Leão in 2022.
Shortly after, the Pernambuco club also resorted to a different format – similar to what Palmeiras did in the case of Endrick. With an eye on market interest, he signed a pre-contract with attacking midfielder Fernandinho – which will come into effect in October, on the athlete’s 16th birthday.
