Max Verstappen won another victory in the 2022 Formula 1 season, his tenth, by triumphing in the Dutch GP held this Sunday (4), in Zandvoort. Despite another brilliant performance, it was not the Dutchman who was responsible for reaching the highest speed of the day in the race: Lando Norris reached 327.5 km/h and took the post, followed by the Red Bull duo — Sergio Pérez with 327, 3 km/h and the championship leader with 326.9 km/h.
Below the top three, Charles Leclerc reached 324.6 km/h with his Ferrari and was fourth on the list, followed by Pierre Gasly, with 323.4 km/h. Fernando Alonso was sixth – the same position at the end of the race –, with 322.1 km/h, and Sebastian Vettel reached 321.6 km/h even at the bottom of the grid with Aston Martin.

His teammate Lance Stroll was slightly lower in the Speed Trap – he reached 321 km/h, but finished the race tenth and added a point for the British team. Finally, Guanyu Zhou and Mick Schumacher completed the top-10, with a maximum speed of 319.7 km/h and 319.5 km/h respectively.
However, the difference between Yuki Tsunoda — last — and the second-to-last on the list, Esteban Ocon, drew attention. While the Frenchman reached 302.3 km/h, the Japanese did not exceed 297.1 km/h and was the only one of the 20 drivers on the grid not to reach the 300 km/h barrier.
