Alisson shines, attack doesn’t work and Liverpool draw with Everton

After two straight victories, Liverpool went to the Goodison Park stadium to face Everton, their main rivals, in another round of the Premier League. Everton, by the way, had five matches still without a win in England’s national elite. Despite many chances created on both sides, the game had a great performance by the goalkeepers and the score did not go from 0 to 0.

The draw leaves Liverpool provisionally in fifth place with nine points. Everton, with just four points, is 14th, and can still lose positions in the round.

Liverpool return to the field next Wednesday (07), at 16hs (GMT), when they will face Napoli, away from home, for the Champions League. In the Premier League, the next game will be on the 10th of September, against Wolverhampton. Everton, in turn, will only return to the field on September 11, to face Arsenal, away from home, in the Premier League.

In the beginning of the match, Liverpool had more possession of the ball and created plays, but had difficulties to take danger. Meanwhile, Everton abused quick attacks and took danger.
