F1: Verstappen, perfect at the end of the session, secures pole for the Dutch GP – News

Racing with the broad support of the Dutch fans, Max Verstappen, of Red Bull, was the protagonist of the classification that defined the grid for the Dutch GP of Formula 1, in Zandvoort, and won pole this Saturday (3), guaranteeing himself in the position of honor for the test scheduled to start at 10 am this Sunday (4). It was his 17th pole in the top category of motorsport, tenth this season.

The reigning champion shone in his last attempt over the 4,259 meters in 1min10s342, surpassing Charles Leclerc in 0s021, who will start alongside him on the front row with the Ferrari.

Carlos Sainz, the other Ferrari player, opens the second row in Holland, accompanied by Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), who starts in fourth place.

Red Bull’s Sergio Pérez, even running on his last lap, secured himself with fifth place. George Russell (Mercedes) completes the list of the top six.

The 2021 Dutch GP, held on the same track as Zandvoort, had Max Verstappen starting on pole, with 1min08s885. He won himself, followed by Hamilton and Bottas, then teammates at Mercedes.
