Ultimate makes its long-awaited debut in France this Saturday. It will be the first time that the French will host an Ultimate event in their history, becoming the 27th country to host the UFC Octagon, being the 12th in Europe.

The event will also mark the debut of Brazilian Gabriel “Fly” Miranda (16-5) in Ultimate. In his first fight for the organization, at lightweight, Gabriel will face Frenchman Benoit Saint Denis (9-1, 1 NC). The 32-year-old Brazilian is known for his sharp Jiu-Jitsu. Fifteen of his 16 wins have been by submission, and he arrives in Paris on a three-game winning streak.
