Interview with Gabriel Miranda

How is planning for a fight?

I’m always training hard and very intensely, when we got a date for a fight, we started the so-called Camp, which is training focused on the specific strategy for that fight. But the training is always continuous.

When entering the Octagon, do you have a defined strategy or do you adopt something as the fight goes on?

We always train on top of the main strategy, already foreseeing possible changes that may occur during the fight, so yes, the strategy can be changed on the fly if necessary. That’s why it’s important to be with a good team and have complete trust in the coaches.

How does it feel to be at the biggest event in the world?

It’s a huge accomplishment and a big step in my career, living it up close and from another angle is incredible. I’m enjoying every detail, I dreamed a lot about it. And now that we have reached this goal, it is time to continue the work and set new goals and objectives. And the first is to win on Saturday!

What do you expect for your next match?

It will be a high level fight, my opponent is very dangerous in the striker and also in the grappler. I’m ready to fight whether standing or on the ground, it’s going to be a fight.

And finally, a dream opponent? (If you have any justification, feel free to do so)

My main objective was to enter the UFC, now that I’m here the biggest goal is to be the champion and to be the champion you need to fight with the current one that is ours Charles do Bronx. But I have a way to go until I get there, no rush and step by step I want to fight all these guys I’ve always followed, now I’m among them. The time will come.
